Ernesto Zeivy (Mexico-USA) says that he is self-taught, but adds that he thought of the Pratt Institute, the Art Students League and the School of Visual Arts, all in New York.

He has exhibited extensively in Mexico, as well as China, Argentina, Ecuador, and Indonesia, and is also the owner/manager of restaurants and jazz clubs in Mexico City. His drawing workshop with a model in Colonia Roma has been active for many years, alternating with renowned artists such as Boris Viskin, Daniel Lezama, Castro Leñero, among others.
